Research Institution
Adversaries of the United States are increasingly using non-traditional tactics and strategies to create a highly unpredictable and dangerous environment for military operations. To prepare for future adversary actions, the military leadership is employing synthetic battlespace environments for military training and mission rehearsal. The goal of this project is to develop the capability to generate realistic asymmetric adversary tactics for wargame simulations. The proposed system, WISE-TMODS, will utilize techniques from game theory and social network analysis to model asymmetric threats and produce credible adversary behavior. It will also provide strategy analysis tools to allow an understanding of how actions taken by players within the wargame affect the asymmetric tactics being employed.
