Abstract
Pure oxygen helps produce energy from coal with fewer greenhouse gases. Current oxygen production systems are expensive. ITN proposes an oxygen separation system using pulsed magnetic fields and polymer magnetic beads to separate oxygen from air for coal gasification plants/syngas production, as a low-cost alternate to current cryogenic methods.
