Abstract

In the Phase I Base period, Anti-Jam (A/J) enhancements exceeding 40 dB were demonstrated with operational RT-1944/U radios. During the Phase I Option period, the system will be tested against a wider range of data rates and interference conditions, and an advanced Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) prototype currently being completed for UHF SATCOM applications will be modified to provide an initial TRL 6 prototype for protecting the RT-1944/U radios. At the beginning of the proposed Phase II effort, this modified LRIP design will be tested operationally with the RT-1944/U radios, and modified in Form, Fit and Function as necessary to meet transition requirements. Reliable Systems Services, the vendor for the RT-1944/U radios, will be a subcontractor on this effort and will work closely with Adaptive Dynamics, Inc. to support the integration and testing of the MAGIC(R) filter. During the Phase II option, a new LRIP MAGIC(R) filter prototype that fits within a spare card slot of the RT-1944/U chassis will be produced. The will be designed in accordance with all identified transition requirements, in order to expedite acquisition for operational use.
