Abstract
Simulation models of rotorcraft are used in a wide variety of Army applications. Conceptual Design uses performance models to size a rotorcraft. Preliminary and detailed design use detailed physical models to predict handling qualities and loads. Test andevaluation uses models to select maneuvers, instrumentation, and test conditions. Training applications use real time models to drive instruments, visual displays and motion platforms.
