Abstract
Phase I Isolated two important scenarios for 3-D imaging micro-UAV applications, a long-range open area scenario and a shorter-range under foliage scenario. Readout integrated circuit (ROIC) designs were optimized for these two scenarios. In Phase II the Phase I ROICs will be fabricated and tested, and combined with InGaAs detector arrays to constitute advanced design hybrids. These hybrids will be wire bonded to custom electronics to form 3-D single-pulse flash ladar sensors, which will in turn be tested in scenario-relevant 3-D imaging experiments.
