Abstract
"Thin film ferroelectric phase shifters will be developed for advanced radar and communication systems. The objective of the project is to demonstrate thin film ferroelectric phase shifters at 20 and 40 GHz. In Phase I, thin film ferroelectric deviceswere shown to be technologically feasable and offer a compelling solution for broadband, low-cost, and low-loss phase shifters. Phase II will address remaining technical barriers and demonstrate prototypes meeting the requirements of the Army FutureCombat System (FCS) vision."
