Abstract

Bridger Photonics proposes developing an optical metrology probe with a wavelength greater than 2 microns capable of transmitting through key infrared materials, achieving <100 nm precisions and accuracy, and measuring distances and thicknesses exceeding 100 mm. This probe will be coupled with OptiPro Systems' 5-axis air-bearing UltraSurf stage to provide complete optical figure and transmitted wavefront error of large infrared aspheric optics including conformal windows, aerodynamic domes, and corrector optics.
