AbstractArgon Engineering Associates proposes to create Early Correlation processing in Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment by using Extensible Markup Language (XML) search of sensor Signal of Interest (SOI) intercept database using Electronic Warfare (EW/ELINT)report parameters. Correlated information will be posted immediately to the JWICS network via OSIS Evolutionary Development or Global Command and Control-Maritime interfaces that operate in a multilevel security (MLS) environment.Specific tasks for this Phase 1 SBIR include CRP/TAR/GMI coordination for XML registry of correlated COMINT/ELINT information, a design approach for using Argon's existing XML database interface, Live Intercept Monitor (LIM), to receive external XML inputand drive SOI search queries in the sensor database. Algorithms for identifying relevant SOIs beside simple time and direction correlation will be investigated, including coherency between SPTNL and MIDB identification for correlated COMINT/ELINT webposting. Argon Engineering Associates currently develops signal collection and direction finding (DF) system that produce large Signal of Interest (SOI) databases. This SBIR provides Argon a way to manage those databases and grow into the EW/ELINTdomain. Further, by developing Extensible Markup Language (XML) applications, Argon will gain valuable experience in moving its systems toward Assistant Secretary of Defense for C3I vision for network-centric operations.
