Abstract
A NOVEL HIGH VOLTAGE DELAY CIRCUIT IS PROPOSED FOR USE WITH EXPLODING FOIL INITIATORS. THIS ALLOWS THE MANUFACTURE OF AN INEXPENSIVE MULTIMODE WARHEAD USEFUL AGAINST TANKS, APCS, AND SOFT TARGETS. ANTICIPATED BENEFITS/POTENTIAL COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS - A COMMON WARHEAD MAY BE DERIVED THAT CAN BE USED IN BOTH SMART SUBMUNITIONS AND LANDMINES, SAVING THE GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT AND MANUFACTURING COSTS.
