Abstract
"Research, design, and build a family of rugged inexpensive tactical antennas for deployed SOF personnel in two versions: one as a tent and the other as camouflage netting. Latest in antenna technologies to design a series of transparent antennas that canreceive HF up to at least UHF (2 to 3000 MHz would cover the full UHF band). Both omni-directional and directional antennas are to be considered. This system is designed primiarly for military tactical operation but it will also have applications with lawenforcement agencies, with some of these antennas for use in wireless/PCS base stations."
